Espaillat Campaign Files 20,000 Petition Signatures, Demonstrating Strong Support

New York, NY — Today, Congressman Adriano Espaillat’s campaign announced it filed more than 20,000 petition signatures to secure his place on the ballot, a powerful show of grassroots strength and organizing across Northern Manhattan and the Bronx.

The signatures, collected by volunteers, community leaders, and supporters throughout the district, reflect a campaign rooted in neighborhoods and driven by the people who call them home.

“This campaign has always been about the people we serve — working families, seniors, young people, and the communities that keep New York moving,” said Congressman Adriano Espaillat. “Filing 20,000 signatures is more than a milestone. It’s proof of the energy, commitment, and belief that our grassroots coalition is stronger than ever.”

Over the past several weeks, volunteers fanned out across Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx, engaging voters directly and building momentum heading into the next phase of the campaign.

“We’re seeing it every day — on street corners, at subway stops, in our buildings and small businesses — people want leadership they can count on,” Espaillat added. “This is what a people-powered campaign looks like.”

The campaign will continue to build on this momentum in the weeks ahead, expanding outreach efforts and mobilizing supporters across the district.

Espaillat has built a broad coalition of progressive leaders, advocates, and labor unions supporting his re-election campaign, including:
